Got up early as usual. Took Butters to daycare, then went to work early (7:15). Counted my money from the day before, and then....
...I LEFT!!!!!
I had taken the day off almost a month ago.
I came home and grabbed Squeaky and we were off for an epic half-birthday celebration!
We hit up Frank's Diner for a tasty pancake breakfast. Then we went to ogle ungodly expensive bikes while we waited to catch the next bus downtown. We went to Starbucks and fed our love of espresso while we waited for the salon to open.
She got a very cute little bob, I just got a trim. The grow out from her last mohawk has been brutal. Then we stopped by grandma's office to show off our fanciness.
We proceeded to the Apple store to play with some gadgets, then went to Auntie's to each get a new book. We walked around a bit and window shopped. Then we went and bought our tickets for Gnomeo and Juliet.
We stocked up on popcorn and soda, and enjoyed every minute of our movie. I highly recommend it for kids and grownups alike!
Then we went and got Butters early and came home to play and settle into our evening.
It was such a great day, and so fun to just get out with Squeaky and enjoy being together, just the 2 of us.
